What we collect
From quote, contact, rental and onboarding forms we may process: name, company, work email, phone (optional), project details (device counts, sites, timing, wipe/destroy preference), and technical metadata needed to deliver the reply (e.g. language, landing URL, UTM if present).
Purpose and legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
We process this data to answer your request and prepare a quote or service (Art. 6(1)(b) — steps prior to a contract — and Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest in responding to B2B enquiries). We do not run a newsletter and we do not sell personal data.
Information we give you (GDPR Art. 13)
You provide data voluntarily via our forms. Recipients are GreenByte staff handling leads. Data may be processed via our hosting and messaging tools strictly to deliver your request. Retention: lead and correspondence data are kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any ensuing project, then deleted or anonymised unless a longer legal retention applies.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, and lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA). Contact us at contact@greenbyte.be.
Data processing agreement (DPA)
When GreenByte processes personal data contained on client media solely to wipe or destroy it as part of an ITAD / data-destruction project, we act as processor for that media content under your instructions. Processing is limited to intake, certified wipe or physical destruction, verification and reporting. Sub-processors (e.g. secure logistics or recycling partners) are bound to equivalent confidentiality. A project-specific DPA can be issued on request before pickup.
